This post is not fun, then very fun!

Good morning happy scrappers! How is everybody today? Jen-Jen is back to being her non-sleeping self. For awhile there, she was doing pretty well, but the last few nights she's been punching me in the face all night long again. Sounds funny, being beat up by a toddler, right? Not so funny at 3 am. What it is, is that she likes to feel my face, but her movements are not too coordinated, so it's kind of like she's flailing around, grabbing my nose, preventing me from breathing, and generally slap boxing me. Good thing she's cute, eh?In other news, Vince has pleurisy! WEB MD describes it thusly:Pleurisy, also called pleuritis, is an inflammation of the pleura, which is the moist, double-layered membrane that surrounds the lungs and lines the rib cage. The condition can make breathing extremely painful. Sometimes it is associated with another condition called pleural effusion, where excess fluid fills the area between the membrane's layers. Why the heck does he have this? What Causes It? Viral infection is probably the most common cause of pleurisy. Other causes include the following: Lung infections, such as pneumonia and tuberculosisOther diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus (lupus), rheumatoid arthritis, cancer, liver and pulmonary embolismChest injuriesDrug reactionsThat's my guess. I think it's due to the airbag deploying in his crash. Poor boy! At first I was thinking he had a bad case of Man-Itis, you know, the poor me's? But then yesterday he was just walking around staring into space, looking distracted and NOT complaining, and that's when I knew something was really up. He went to the ER and came home with instructions not to lift a finger for two weeks, and a scrip for Percoset. Mmmm percoset... LOL. JK JK, my strongest drug is coffee. But anyway, that's the scoop! On to more fun things, aka lots of enabling, LO shares, a NEW KIT release, and a freebie! YAY!First off, did you know that Miss Crow is having a sale? TWENTY-FIVE percent off regularly priced items through July 5th! WOW!Trust me, you don't want to miss this one! The divine Miss C has come out with a new line:I used it (with some of her other goodies) to make this LO, which I adore! You know me and my fantasy pages!I also had some fun with Sunshine stuff. This first LO comes from Vicki's Summer Vacation, which is the grand prize kit from opening week. Remember? One lucky duck got a kit made to her specs? Well she picked a beachy nautical feel, and this is what I came up with. Yup, that's m'folks!I made this next one with Fern Gully by Polka Dot Plum. Jenny pulled Atha's milk cup off the counter directly on to her upturned face, and I am a dedicated mothe- er, scrapper, so I quickly took a picture. THEN I cleaned her up! AND NOW!!! My new kit release, Affirmation! You migh recognize this as a former blog freebie and DSO color challenge for June. Well, I always LOVE Kim's color challenges, I think they inspire me to do my best work. Also, she'd released a new CU bundle at that time, so I had some fun playing with it. I loved the freebie I made so much, and the theme I came up with, so I went ahead and expanded it into a full kit. It is my favorite work yet! Right now it's up at Benevolent Boutique, but will also be up at Wenchd Grafix and I just might be selling at another store soon too!! Hooray! These images are linked to the Benevolent Boutique shop: I'm going to release a Word Art Affirmation a day for the first week of release, and then pull them all and package them up with a few other goodies as an Add-on. But for now, click on the WA to dl it for Freeeee! Be sure to come back every day and get your fun stuff!
